Exciting changes

Hello friends.

I’ve been with a new Agency for a few months now, and I am really enjoying it. I’ve clocked 39 hours in the last 3 days, not even including travel time.

I’m also in the process of moving into a new condo.

I’ve been studying the New Message for 4 years now, and I have literally found an entirely new life than the one I was living when I found the message.

There are some exciting things growing over here in Behinjamin Land. Please stay tuned for more. 😉

Have you ever asked,
Who we are?
Implored of the night sky,
Am I a star?

Life is experienced,
Close or far.
Sharing these lessons,
That’s who we are.

The future of Social Media

The future of Social Media

I’ve been a pretty big fan of Facebook for about a dozen years now, but recently had an experience which left my feelings towards them soured.  #FacebookCensorship ftl(for the lose).
It causes me to think about the future of Social Media: We all know Facebook’s reign of terror will end someday, and I believe it will be because a better Social Network takes their place.  If we look at the trend, from Blogger and Friendster, to Myspace and Twitter….we see a veritable tug of war between variety of posting options, to the conciseness of a news feed…the list goes on and on.
That’s not the future I’m referring to, however.  Instead I’d like to speak on where I think Social Media is going.  It’s important to start by defining what Social Media is: Image result for social media defined
So does anyone see anything about a corporation moderating and censoring aspects of the information?
Because I don’t.  What I do see is that a true incarnation of Social Media would permit anyone to share any content they deemed worth of sharing.  Anything else is censorship, right?
So what I’m getting at is that the future of Social Media, in my opinion, is openness.  It’s a community where users can choose what they want to see and share, and by nature of that freedom, moderation is unnecessary because people can simply not look at what they don’t want to see.

Wisdom from the Tanakh

Wisdom from the Tanakh

I think it’s important to leave ourselves open to wisdom from all sources.  I believe that God is Knowledge and that every single experience we have is lending itself to our reclamation of Knowledge.  In that Light, I ran across this quote today and it is especially poignant for my life right now:

“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9, New International Version)
